Artist statement by Javier Enriquez

My art leads the observer on a journey into the abstract. Vibrant acrylic paintings, often combining other materials such as, string and lights, create multi-faceted webs of movement. These colorful works reflect the vicious circles of confrontation and confusion in urban life as well as the calm relentless pursuit of a beacon. My ultimate goal as an artist is for each individual to see and perceive patterns of their own life through my art.

I am primarily a self-thaught artist.
